Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks an ER RN for a 13‑week travel assignment in Hilo, HI. You will work 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts, delivering rapid, high‑quality care in a fast‑paced ED environment.

Required are one year ER RN experience, active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications. Preferred adds include TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, NRP, and SANE credentials. Benefits and travel support are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent ER RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC Certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival based on severity.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocols.
• Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergencies.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety in the ED.
• Document vital signs and patient status in EMR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
