Job summary
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN in the ED for a travel nursing assignment in Somerset, Kentucky. This 13-week position offers a 36-hour workweek, with 12-hour days and travel employment terms.
You will join a network of Lifepoint Health facilities through HWS, enjoy guaranteed hours and referrals bonuses as part of our competitive pay packages. Requirements include a minimum of one year in acute care, current RN license, and appropriate certifications.
Qualifications
- One year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
- Current state nursing license.
- Appropriate certifications as required for specific position.
- Degree from an accredited school.
- Demonstrate code of conduct and compliance policies.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English.
Responsibilities
- Perform plan of care interventions including medication administration and treatments; document care.
- Monitor patient condition and communicate with care team, physicians, patients and families.
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines; assist with transfer, discharge and referrals.
- Provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Advocate for the patient’s physical and emotional well-being.
