Job summary

FutureSoft Consulting Inc. is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Wrangell, Alaska.

The ideal candidate will have strong ER nursing skills, be able to assess and treat patients with urgent and life‑threatening conditions, and hold an active Alaska RN license with ED experience. Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, and 36 hours per week are typical.

Qualifications

• Active Alaska RN license and ED experience.
• Minimum 1 year of ER experience preferred.
• Ability to rapidly assess and prioritize patients in a busy ED.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Perform rapid patient assessments and triage.
• Assist physicians during emergency procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and administer emergency treatments.
• Coordinate transfers and document in Cerner.
