TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Department travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Thornton, Colorado. This role requires 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and active RN licensure with ER certifications.

You will join a fast-paced team, triage patients, and deliver care while documenting thoroughly. Responsibilities include bedside care, IV therapy, vitals monitoring, and coordination with physicians.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• ER travel assignment in Thornton, CO.
• Active RN license and current certifications (TNCC/ACLS/BLS/PALS).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency department.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and triage ER patients and implement physician orders.
• Provide basic bedside care and monitor patient vitals.
• Document medical history and allergies; communicate with team and patients.
• Assist with procedures and IV therapy; maintain equipment and supplies.
• Manage stress and adapt to high-pressure environments.
