Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Goldsboro, North Carolina. The ER travel nurse will evaluate, triage and implement care in a fast-paced emergency setting, documenting medical history and patient data.

The role requires 2 years of acute care ER experience and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/CPI certifications. Duties include bedside care, wound care, IV therapy, and maintaining equipment and supplies as a travel ER RN.

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent acute care ER experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS and CPI certifications.
• Ability to work in fast-paced emergency environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, triage and implement care per physician instructions.
• Perform minor procedures and document medical history.
• Monitor vital signs and patient well-being.
• Provide basic bedside care and wound care.
• Maintain supplies and equipment.
• Report abuse to appropriate agencies.
