Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Bristol, Connecticut. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience and must hold ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

36 hours weekly, 12-hour days, travel employment, start date 10/26/2026. The ER Travel Nurse will assess, triage, and implement care in a fast-paced environment, document histories, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with a diverse care team.

Qualifications

• Requires ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications and 3+ years of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
