Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Room travel nurse to join our ER team in Hermiston, Oregon. This assignment is 13 weeks long with a 36-hour work week, featuring 12-hour rotating shifts in a fast-paced emergency department.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and holds BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications. Responsibilities include triage, care implementation, documentation, and patient-family education in a busy ER setting.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care following physician instructions.
• Provide basic bedside care and wound management as needed.
• Document medical history, allergies and vital signs.
• Monitor patients' emotional and physical well-being in a fast-paced ER.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
