Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Hanford, CA. The ER RN will provide rapid-response care in a fast-paced emergency department, assess patients, administer treatments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
The role requires 1 year of ER experience, active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS-ENPC certifications. Travel privileges include comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.
Qualifications
- One year of recent ER RN experience
- Current RN license compliant with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC Certification
Responsibilities
- Rapidly assess and triage patients on arrival
- Explain emergency procedures to patients and families
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Prepare equipment and aid physicians during treatments
- Monitor patient comfort and safety in the ED
- Observe and document patient conditions
- Take and monitor vital signs
- Document nursing assessments and interventions in EMR
- Initiate patient education plans
- Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, social workers and staff
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards
