Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in San Francisco, California. This assignment runs 8 weeks with 36 hours per week, employing 12-hour rotating shifts.

The ER Travel Nurse will assess, triage and treat patients in a fast-paced ED, documenting care and collaborating with the team to ensure patient safety. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care in an ER, ACLS/BLS/PALS, and be able to lift and move patients as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience in an Emergency Department.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced ED environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
