Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment at a facility in Los Banos, CA. The role focuses on rapid assessment, urgent care, and high-quality patient handling in a busy ED environment.

You will triage, administer treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while maintaining patient safety and adhering to protocols. Travel nurses receive competitive pay and benefits, with robust support from our clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience required.
• Valid RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification.

Responsibilities

• Triage and assess patients on arrival.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocols.
• Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergencies.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety in the ED.
• Document comprehensive nursing assessments and outcomes in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff and specialists to ensure patient care.
