Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for the ED in Springdale, Arkansas. This travel assignment is 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts for an 8-week duration, with a tax-free stipend to be determined.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years acute care experience and ED-specific skills for triage and rapid assessment. As an ER travel nurse, you will deliver bedside care, IV therapy, wound care and patient education while documenting history and vitals.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience as an RN.
• Emergency Department competency and ability to work in fast-paced settings.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and triage patients in a fast-paced ER environment.
• Provide basic bedside care, wound care, IV therapy and monitoring.
• Document medical history, vitals, allergies and patient status.
