Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED for Leonardtown, MD. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift in the Emergency Department.

Requirements include an active RN license, accreditation, and 18 months ER acute care experience; additional client-specific requirements may apply. Benefits include weekly pay, housing options, health and life insurance, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions.
• 18 months of ER acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize patients with trauma or illness.
• Recognize and treat life-threatening conditions promptly.
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries by medical need.
• Make quick, accurate assessments of incoming patients’ physical and mental health.
