Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel ER RN for an Emergency Department assignment in Austin, Texas. The role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience and involves 12-hour evening shifts, with a 36-hour week as a travel position.

As a travel ER nurse, you will evaluate and triage patients, provide bedside care, administer IV therapy, and document histories while working with a diverse care team in a fast-paced setting. Certifications ACLS/BLS/PALS etc. are required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and monitor patients.
• Clean and bandage wounds; perform IV therapy.
• Maintain medical supplies and equipment.
• Document medical histories and vital signs; report suspected abuse.

Education

ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, NIH, CPI certifications
