Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel assignment in Urbana, Illinois. The role runs 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts in the ED.

Candidates must hold an active RN license and meet facility requirements, including 18 months of ER acute care experience. Travel benefits include weekly pay, housing options, health insurance, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Be knowledgeable about general as well as specific health issues.
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.
