Job summary
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Newburgh, Indiana. The assignment is a 13-week travel position with 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts.
The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license with a degree from an accredited nursing program and acute ER experience. Some positions require BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC certification, with client facility requirements differing by assignment.
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Degree from accredited nursing program
- BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
- Other requirements to be determined by our client facility
Responsibilities
- Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
- Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
- Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.
