Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing, LLC seeks a skilled ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Port Lavaca, TX. The ER RN delivers rapid-response patient care in a busy emergency department, triaging, administering medications, and collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The candidate must have 1 year ER RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/ENPC credentials; TNCC and NIHSS are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent ER RN experience.
• Active RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care by severity.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per ER protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergencies.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout ED stay.
• Document patient conditions, assessments, and interventions in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care.
• Adhere to hospital safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
