Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Tacoma, Washington. The ER nurse will provide high-quality emergency care in a busy 32-bed ED, with a 1:4 nurse-patient ratio and multidisciplinary support.

The role requires active RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, NIHSS/TNCC certifications, EPIC EMR experience, and strong communication and time-management skills.

Qualifications

Valid RN license and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.
Minimum 2 years ED experience; EPIC EMR experience.
Strong communication, organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency care in a 32-bed ED.
Maintain 1:4 nurse-patient ratio and collaborate with the ED team.
Triage, stabilize and manage patients with diverse complaints.
Document care and outcomes in EPIC and shift handoffs clearly.
