Job summary

Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN ED for a 13‑week assignment in Columbus, Ohio. You will work 36 hours per week across nights, with a 3x12 schedule (19:00–07:30) and patient care in a fast-paced ED environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in emergency care, Ohio RN licensure, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/NIHSS/CPI certifications, plus trauma center and stroke care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications.
• Experience in Level I Trauma Center, stroke/STEMI experience preferred.
• Strong ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on severity of conditions.
• Administer emergency medications and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Conduct procedural sedation and manage ventilated patients.
• Care for trauma patients and assist with psych holds.
• Provide pediatric emergency care as needed.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and manage medications through Pyxis system.
• Float to other units as required and assist the healthcare team in various roles.

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care and be prepared to handle a variety of situations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on severity of conditions.
