MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Lincoln, Nebraska. The position requires ED experience, an active RN license, and ability to work 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, for a 13-week assignment starting 10/12/2026.

You’ll receive weekly pay, health benefits, housing options, and travel reimbursement as part of a comprehensive package. This role supports acute care patients with critical conditions and requires BLS/ACLS/PALS

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC may be required.
• Eighteen months of recent ER acute care experience.
• Other client-specific requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat ER patients with life-threatening conditions.
• Stabilize patients and coordinate care with cross-functional teams.
• Perform triage and rapid assessments for diverse injuries.
• Deliver timely interventions in high-pressure environments.

Duties Responsibilities

Emergency Room registered nurses (RN) provide care for patients from various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention and must be able to recognize and effectively treat life-threatening conditions.

Responsible for assessing, intervening and stabilizing a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.

Due to the range of medical conditions that may require urgent treatment and care, they must be knowledgeable about general as well as specific health issues.

Properly understand triage in order to prioritize injuries based on medical need.

Able to make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.
