Job summary

Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Des Moines, Iowa. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts.

The candidate should have 36 months of ED experience, be able to care for pediatric and adult patients, and hold current IA licensure or compact license. TNCC, BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required, with EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 36 months of emergency medicine experience [required]
• 1st time travelers accepted, 36 months experience in ED at a minimum to consider
• experience caring for pediatrics, adults [required]
• experience with behavioral health patients [highly preferred]
• experience with drips including sedations, vasoactive [required]
• experience reading, measuring, interpreting tele strips [required]
• ACTIVE TNCC / trauma nursing core competency course [required] [document]
• EPIC EMR experience [highly preferred]
• Level I trauma experience [preferred]
• Level II trauma experience [required]
• Work history/resume/employment history must have 36 months of current Emergency Department, Emergency Room experience [required]
• Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (ED, ER, Emergency Department, Emergency Room) [required]
• Nursy s must state Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate at time of submission [required] [document]
