Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Room travel nurse to work in Hermitage, Tennessee. The RN will evaluate, triage and treat patients in a fast-paced ED setting on a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week and 12-hour night shifts.

Requirements include ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC and NIH certifications, plus 1–2 years of acute care experience. This role involves documenting medical histories, vital signs and patient well-being while supporting physicians and families.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience required.
• ER RN travel assignment experience preferred.
• Able to work 12-hour nights in a fast-paced ED environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
