Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The ER travel nurse will evaluate, triage and implement care following physician instructions in a fast-paced environment, providing essential bedside care and coordinating with the care team.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years acute care experience, BLS/ACLS/TNCC/PALS, and the ability to document histories and vital signs accurately.

Qualifications

• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications required.
• 1 year of recent acute care experience preferred.
• Travel RN position based in Milwaukee, WI.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients in a fast-paced ED setting.
• Provide basic bedside care and IV therapy.
• Document medical histories, allergies and vital signs.
• Monitor patients' condition and communicate with the team.
• Assist with wounds care and patient education.
