Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel assignment in Muskegon, Michigan. The position covers 36 hours per week with 12-hour evening shifts, starting 11/09/2026 for 13 weeks.

Active RN license and degree from an accredited nursing program are required, with BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC as applicable. Eighteen months of ED experience is expected, with facility-specific requirements to be determined.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program is required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Perform quick and accurate patient assessments including physical and mental health conditions.
• Properly understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients in a high-pressure ED setting.
