Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment at a facility in St. Maries, Idaho.

The ER RN delivers rapid-response patient care in a fast-paced emergency department, assessing conditions and initiating urgent care plans while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care. Requirements include 1 year of ER RN experience, active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS (or ENPC).

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience.
• Valid RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per emergency nursing protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergency treatments and exams.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the ED stay.
