Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department travel assignment in Texas. The role requires a TX or compact RN license, active certifications, and travel nursing experience.

The 13-week assignment runs days 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with 4x12 hour shifts, and includes housing allowance and travel reimbursement. Candidates must reside outside a 110-mile radius; references required; a mandatory pre-arrival drug screen is performed; CBD products should be avoided.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license in hand.
• ACLs, BLS, and NIHSS required.
• CPI, NRP, PALS, and TNCC preferred.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Two professional references from supervisors within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department (ER) setting.
• 13-week assignment.
• Day shift schedule, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, 4x12 hours.
• Preferred charting system experience, though any system accepted.
• Facility conducts its own mandatory drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with automatic cancellation for positive results.
• Candidates should avoid CBD products and other substances that could yield a positive drug screen before and after arrival onsite.
• Must reside outside a 110-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted.
• Two professional references from supervisors within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration.
