Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Frankfort, KY. The role requires rapid assessment, triage, and life-saving care in a busy ED, with 36 hours per week and 12-hour evening shifts.

You will collaborate with physicians and support staff, maintain patient safety, and uphold standard infection control and regulatory guidelines. Eligible candidates have ER RN experience, active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC or equivalent.

Qualifikationen

• One year of ER RN experience
• Valid RN license in accordance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC Certification

Aufgaben

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival and prioritize care based on severity
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to emergency nursing protocols
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergency treatments and examinations
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the ED and respond to needs
• Document patient conditions and interventions in EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Adhere to hospital safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
