Job summary

VyTalent Solutions seeks an ER Registered Nurse for a hospital assignment in Randallstown, Maryland. The RN will join the ED team for a 14-week travel contract, working 36 hours per week across 12-hour shifts, from 07:00 to 19:30. Candidates must have Maryland or compact RN license, ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications, plus 3 years ED experience or 2 years Level I/II trauma.

First-timers with 3 years ED are welcome. Stroke CE hours and Cerner/FirstNet charting experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license (Maryland or compact) required.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications.
• Prophecy Relias Advanced Emergency Department assessment.
• 4hrs annual stroke CEs.
• 3 years of Emergency Department experience, or 2 years of Level I or Level II trauma.
• First-timers accepted with at least 3 years of ED experience.
• Patient ratio experience of 1:4-6.
• Support for Behavioral Health units with 1:6 ratio.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with Cerner, FirstNet, Launch charting systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care in a 54-bed Emergency Department treating neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Support behavioral health units and rapid evaluation units within scope.
• Collaborate with security team to maintain a safe environment for Behavioral Health patients.
• Support approximately 120 patient visits daily with patient ratios of 1:4-6.
• Maintain all certifications and adhere to hospital protocols, including holiday coverage and weekend shifts.
