Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse with ER experience for a travel assignment in Hondo, Texas. Shifts are days, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM at a rural Critical Access Hospital, with guaranteed hours and a weekly pay range of $1,893–$1,987. Start date 11/09/2026 for a duration measured in weeks.

You will triage ED patients, administer care, document responses, and collaborate with the care team to ensure smooth patient flow in a small community hospital.

Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice in the United States.
• ER nursing experience preferred in fast-paced ED.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred for ED emergencies.
• Ability to work a 12-hour day shift in a travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage ED patients and initiate initial treatment plans.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and follow ED protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to coordinate care and patient flow.
• Document observations and interventions accurately in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.
