Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
• Active RN License requirement.
• Degree from accredited nursing program required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Room nurses provide care for patients with illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention and must recognize and treat life-threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.
