Qualifications
- One year of ER RN experience is required.
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification are required.
Responsibilities
- Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival based on severity.
- Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per emergency nursing protocols.
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergency treatments and exams.
- Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the ED stay and document vital signs.
