Roosevelt General Hospital in Portales, NM seeks an experienced Emergency Department RN for night shifts on a travel contract. The nurse will provide direct and indirect emergency care, triage patients rapidly, and work to stabilize patients while coordinating with physicians.

This role requires a minimum of five years in nursing, ED experience, and flexibility for night shifts with guaranteed hours. Meditech experience is a plus and holiday coverage is required.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience.
• Current, active RN license accepted by the facility for practice in New Mexico.
• Emergency Department nursing experience and strong triage skills.
• Night shift assignment.
• 36 guaranteed hours per week, subject to applicable contract terms.
• Holiday coverage is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to emergency department patients.
• Perform safe, rapid, and accurate patient triage.
• Prioritize care based on acuity and patient flow.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Communicate patient updates and results to emergency physicians.
• Demonstrate initiative and clinical judgment with minimal supervision.
• Cover occasional charge nurse shifts; holiday coverage as required.
