Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for an Emergency Department role requiring CA licensure and Level II trauma center experience. The position involves varied 12-hour shifts and Epic charting, with potential for travel assignments.

Requirements include active CA RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, TNCC, and 2+ years ER experience in a Level II or higher center. ENPC preferred. Beneficial to be W-2 through staffing agency.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Current TNCC required.
• Minimum 2 years emergency room experience in a Level II trauma center or higher.
• Experience with Pediatric, Trauma, STEMI, and Stroke patient populations required.
• Epic charting experience required.
• ENPC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Level II Trauma Center and Joint Commission Accredited STEMI and Stroke Receiving Center.
• 5 pods with 49 beds and 4:1 maximum patient ratios.
• Approximately 68,000 annual visits.
• Varied 12-hr shift schedule with start times of 6a, 8a, 10a, 12p, 2p, and 6p.
• Uses Epic charting system.
• Floating required as needed for Med/Surg and Critical Care RN positions.
• Must be a W-2 employee of staffing agency.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
