Job summary

American Traveler, LLC seeks an experienced RN for an Emergency Department travel assignment in Washington. The role requires 2+ years of ED experience and prior travel assignment history.

Responsibilities include managing a high-volume ED of 33 beds with trauma bays, night shifts, and potential float coverage across regional hospitals. WA license and active certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Active WA or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC all active
• Prior completion of at least one travel assignment required
• Experience with ventilator patients and lab draws required
• Two professional references required with dates and eligibility
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Acute care ED setting with 33 beds, 2 trauma bays, 5 psych/seclusion rooms
• Fast-track area available
• Handles 125-140 patients per day with diagnoses like stroke, STEMI, trauma, ACS
• Night 12-hour shifts 6:00 PM–6:30 AM
• Every-other weekend and occasional holidays
• Primary assignment with potential float to other hospitals in the region
• Uses Epic EMR and has 24/7 support on unit
• Nurse aides/paramedics assist as ED techs
• Pharmacy coverage available 20 hours daily
