Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year acute care hospital experience.
• Current state nursing license.
• Certifications as required for specific position.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care, medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments and other care, documenting care.
• Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to care team, physician, patient and family.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines, including transfers and discharges.
• Educate patient and family based on age, culture, condition and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
