Job summary

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN in the ED (Emergency Department) for Urbana, Illinois. This travel assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts. The role requires an ASN and IL RN license, with BSN preferred, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

You will deliver high-quality patient care, perform assessments, document thoroughly, and collaborate with the ED team to ensure safe, efficient operations. Housing and dedicated support are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of RN experience.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Illinois state RN license in good standing.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• -Performs all responsibilities and duties as defined by ED unit.
• -Implements ED nursing procedures and theories.
• -Maintains up-to-date nursing documentation for care plans.
• -Completes admission assessment and develops care plan.
• -Executes and modifies plan of care with interventions.
• -Ensures safety for patients and staff at all times.
• -Communicates effectively with staff and families.
• -Provides feedback for peer development.
