American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department assignment in Colorado. Requires CO or compact RN license, ACLS, BLS, ENPC, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and night shift availability. 13-week assignment, EPIC EMR, 12-bed ED.

You will manage about 25 patients per day with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, and may self-schedule shifts; there is potential to float to sister facilities. Must reside within a reasonable distance and be able to work Thanksgiving and holidays.

Competenze

• Active CO or Compact RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC.
• Ability to be self-directed and manage patients independently.
• Driver's license copy must be submitted for consideration.
• Two professional references: one supervisor (last 12 months) and one peer/supervisor (last 3 years) with dates of employment and rehire eligibility.

Mansioni

• 13-week assignment in a fast-paced urgent care/ER with 12 beds/trauma bays.
• Treats approximately 25 patients per day with chest pain, respiratory issues, dehydration, ortho injuries, stroke rule-outs, lacerations, GI complaints.
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:4.
• Night shift schedule, 6:45pm–6:45am, every other weekend.
• 12-hour shifts with self-scheduling; manager may adjust to balance coverage.
• Floating to sister EUC facilities as needed.
• Uses EPIC EMR.
• RNs triage their own patients; no separate triage area.
