Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an ER Holding position in Columbus, Ohio, in the Telemetry PCU/Progressive Care Unit with a 13-week contract. Start ASAP, 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week. Requires Ohio compact license and strong critical care skills.

Pay package reflects 12-hour shifts with a weekly rate of $1,797 and a tax-free stipend. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, and per diem options. Locals welcome at traveler rates.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio (or compact) at consideration.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience in critical care.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS.
• Experience with telemetry, PCU/stepdown care and rapid response.

Responsibilities

• Work in ER Holding unit of a hospital.
• Care for pediatrics to geriatrics, 1:4 ratio.
• Night 12-hour shifts, three nights per week (19:00–07:30).
• Documentation in Epic; manage complex cases with monitoring.
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams and rapid response as needed.
• Complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after signing.
• Locals accepted at traveler rate; former employees may reapply.
