Job summary

The Travel Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist position with Siemens Healthineers supports cardiac EP procedures across contracted facilities, traveling as needed. You will prepare and operate EP lab equipment, assist physicians during ablations and device implants, and monitor patient rhythms to ensure safety.

Strong communication with clinicians and remote support are part of the role. Requires ARRT, BLS and ACLS with at least three years of EP experience.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification required.
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support credentials needed.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience within the EP modality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, operate, and maintain electrophysiology lab equipment such as mapping systems and ablation devices.
• Assist physicians during complex EP procedures including ablations and device implants.
• Monitor patient status and cardiac rhythms during procedures with focus on safety.
• Collect, document, and analyze data from electrophysiology studies.
• Perform sterile scrub and circulating duties as required.
• Ensure equipment setup accuracy and comply with facility and manufacturer standards.
• Maintain infection control, radiation safety, and procedural protocols.
• Provide patient education and support before, during, and after procedures.
• Adapt to different environments and workflows while maintaining care quality.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 3x12 - no call (36 weekly hours)
• Role: Scrub, Circulate, Monitor
• Pay: $2,940 weekly gross (eligible for benefits)

About Your Role:

The Travel Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist provides specialized technical expertise in cardiac electrophysiology procedures while supporting patient care across diverse healthcare settings. This role involves traveling to contracted facilities, adapting quickly to new environments, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic and interventional EP services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, operate, and maintain electrophysiology lab equipment, including mapping systems, recording devices, stimulators, and ablation technologies.
• Assist physicians during complex EP procedures such as ablations, device implants (pacemakers, ICDs, CRT), and diagnostic studies.
• Monitor patient status and cardiac rhythms during procedures, ensuring patient safety.
• Collect, document, and analyze data related to cardiac electrophysiology studies.
• Perform sterile scrub and circulating duties as required.
• Ensure accurate equipment setup, troubleshooting, and compliance with facility and manufacturer standards.
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control, radiation safety, and procedural protocols.
• Provide patient education and support before, during, and after procedures.
• Adapt quickly to different healthcare environments, workflows, and team dynamics while maintaining consistency in quality of care.
• Document procedures and maintain records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
