Job summary

Electrophysiology (EP) Technician position available in Schenectady, NY within Cross Country Allied. This role involves assisting cardiologists with EP procedures, primarily in the EP laboratory, with a schedule of 10-hour days from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The ideal candidate will have EP or cath lab experience and be able to work independently. Requirements include certification in the relevant field and completion of education as an Invasive Radiology Technologist (IRT)

Qualifications

• Certification in relevant field and licensure if applicable.
• Education as an Invasive Radiology Technologist (IRT) or Cardiovascular Technician (CVT).
• Minimum 1 year EP or cath lab experience; 2 years preferred.
• Ability to work in EP lab with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist with EP procedures including pacemaker and ICD implants.
• Support generator changes, lead revisions, and EP studies/ablations.
• Sit in the EP lab as the primary workspace with minimal supervision.
