Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an EP Lab Technician with 3+ years of electrophysiology experience for a 13-week travel assignment in Boston, MA. The role centers on supporting the EP lab team during procedures and device implants, with a focus on sterile technique and peri-procedural support.

Candidates must have current BLS/ACLS, pacemaker experience, and be prepared to scrub in for EP studies, ablations, and PVI procedures. Local candidates will be considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years EP/electrophysiology experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Experience with devices, EP studies, ablations and PVI procedures.
• Experience programming Medtronic, St. Jude and Boston Scientific pacemakers.
• Familiarity with Pruka system, scrubbing in, and Siemens biplane preferred.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Electrophysiology Lab setting.
• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM).
• No weekends or holidays required.
• Prepare sterile equipment, catheters, sheaths, and other medical instruments.
• Prepare sterile sites on patients prior to procedures.
• Provide technical support to the electrophysiologist during ablations, EP studies, cardioversions, and cardiac device implants and explants.
• Assist in diagnosing arrhythmias using stimulators.
• Accepts local candidates.
