Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Electrophysiology Technician for a 13-week assignment in Fort Walton Beach, FL. The role involves assisting in EP studies, ablations, and device implantations, with patient preparation, equipment operation, and post-procedure care.

Requirements include 1 year of EP Lab Tech experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCES/RCIS certifications. Travel benefits and a dedicated clinical team support travelers in this assignment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an EP Lab Tech
• Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) certification
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Current ACLS certification

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for EP lab patients and document findings accurately
• Educate patients and families on electrophysiology procedures and post-procedure care
• Assist physicians with electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device implantations
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient responses throughout procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and assist with equipment preparation and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with the care team to implement patient-centered treatment plans
• Provide post-procedure care and monitor for complications
