Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Electrophysiology (EP) Lab for a travel assignment in Columbus, Ohio.

The EP Lab RN will assist in electrophysiology procedures, monitor patients, administer medications, and educate patients while collaborating with the care team. Schedule is 4x10 days, 08:00 AM to 06:30 PM, with weekday and weekend on-call every two months.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Prior experience in Electrophysiology Lab preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Nursing, Biology, or Chemistry required; candidates with degrees in other fields must provide a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Assist in EP procedures such as cardiac ablation, pacemaker insertion, and lead extraction.
• Conduct baseline measurements and conduction studies.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs during procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Provide patient education regarding procedures and post-operative care.

Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Registered Nurse with a passion for providing high-quality patient care. This role involves working in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for monitoring and executing complex procedures related to cardiac care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various electrophysiology procedures such as cardiac ablation, pacemaker insertion, and lead extraction.
• Conduct baseline measurements and conduction studies.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs during procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Provide patient education regarding procedures and post-operative care.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 4x10 days, Monday to Friday, from 08:00 AM to 06:30 PM.
• On-call Requirements: Participate in weekday and weekend call rotation every two months.

• Must possess current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience with Epic EMR system is required.
• Prior experience in Electrophysiology Lab preferred.
