HealthTrust Workforce Solutions partners with MaineHealth to provide travel nurse opportunities across MaineHealth facilities, with 8, 10, or 13 week assignments based on facility need. Location is Mid Coast Hospital, Brunswick, ME, offering competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Position requires acute care hospital experience, applicable certifications, and an accredited degree. English proficiency and compliance with policies are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Appropriate certifications as required for specific position.
• Degree from an accredited school.
• Abide by code of conduct and compliance policies and expectations.
• Ability to communicate clearly and to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines including transfers, discharge, referrals, and psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
