Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Endoscopy Tech to support a busy GI lab in Plano, TX. The role is day shift with a 13-week assignment and requires hospital Endoscopy experience, endoscope reprocessing, and licensure if applicable.

Ideal candidates will have 1+ year of Endoscopy, experience with ERCP/EUS/bronchoscopy, and be willing to work 4–7 call days monthly. Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Endoscopy experience.
• Experience with colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, ION/bronchoscopy, and EBUS procedures required.
• Experience with endoscope reprocessing required.
• License required if applicable.
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration.
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Endoscopy unit with 5 procedure rooms
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Day shift team includes 5 RNs and 5 endo techs; night shift is call-only
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Utilizes Meditech EMR for charting
• Call required approximately 4-7 days per month
• 13-week assignment
• Assist with procedures including colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCPs, EUS, and bronchoscopy/EBUS
• Support reprocessing of endoscopic equipment between procedures
• Work as part of a procedural team alongside RNs and physicians
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
