Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a travel assignment in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The position requires an active RN license, an accredited nursing degree, and 18 months of acute care endoscopy experience.

Qualifications

Active RN license
Degree from accredited nursing program
BLS and ACLS certifications
18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Endoscopy setting
18+ months of recent experience in acute care endoscopy.

Responsibilities

Performs assessment and data collection focusing on patient needs.
Provides technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures.
Maintains patient dignity, privacy and a friendly environment.
Stores and administers medications per standards.
Keeps timely nursing records and ensures confidentiality.
Works with minimal supervision during endoscopic procedures and recovery.
