Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel Endoscopy RN for a travel nursing job in Plano, TX. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, 10-hour day shifts, and an ASAP start date.

The Endoscopy RN will provide care before, during and after procedures, support the medical team, and manage endoscopy equipment and safety protocols in a fast-paced setting. Requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and ACLS/BLS certifications. Travel employment type.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• Endoscopy RN experience or equivalent in Endoscopy procedures.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Endoscopy unit before, during and after procedures.
• Support physicians and medical team to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintain endoscopes and related equipment with decontamination records and traceability.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment in accordance with standards.
