Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Endoscopy for a 13-week position in Potsdam, New York. You will assist in various endoscopic procedures while providing direct patient care and supporting infection control measures.

The role requires at least one year of relevant experience, BLS certification, and an active NY nursing license. Benefits include health insurance, a retirement plan, and travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Endoscopy or GI setting.
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
Active NY nursing license in hand at the time of submission.
Epic charting experience is a hard requirement.

Responsibilities

Assist with endoscopic procedures, including Colonoscopy, EGD, EBUS, and EUS.
Prepare and maintain equipment for procedures, ensuring high-level disinfection and sterilization protocols are followed.
Provide direct patient care and support during both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic interventions.
Perform high-quality instrument processing and cleaning.
Assist with biopsies and related specimen management.
Implement infection control measures and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
