Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Endoscopy travel nurse in Phoenix, AZ. The RN will work 40 hours per week over a 13-week assignment in a busy Endoscopy unit, supporting physicians and the medical team before, during, and after procedures.

Required: BLS, ACLS, and 2 years of acute care experience. Endoscopy-specific knowledge, pharmacodynamics of conscious sedation, and strong infection-control practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS and ACLS certification.
• 2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Endoscopy nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a high standard of nursing care to patients in the Endoscopy Unit, following company policies and procedures.
• Provide technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures, ensuring safe working practice.
• Participate in the care and maintenance of endoscopes and related equipment, with proper decontamination records.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment within the clinical area according to established standards and regulations.
