Job summary

Healthforce seeks a Registered Nurse for an Endoscopy travel assignment in Somerville, MA. The 13-week contract offers 40 guaranteed hours per week, rotating 8x5 in a hospital outpatient endoscopy unit. Start 12/01/2026. Requires MA RN license, BLS/ACLS, and endoscopy experience.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license with current status.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for adults undergoing outpatient endoscopy.
• Assist gastroenterology team with screening and diagnosis; monitor patient status.
• Prepare procedure rooms; maintain sterile technique and equipment.
• Monitor vitals, sedation, post-procedure recovery; discharge instructions.
• Document care in EPIC or specified EMR; communicate with physician team.
• Floats to related endoscopy areas as needed; no on-call; comply with flu vaccine requirements.
