Responsibilities

• Performs assessment/data collection focusing on physiologic, psychobiologic and cognitive needs of the patient/family.
• Provides technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures, ensuring safe working practice.
• Maintains patient contact with relatives, ensuring courtesy, dignity, privacy and a friendly environment.
• Stores, checks and administers medication per standards.
• Maintains timely and accurate nursing records and confidentiality.
• Works with minimal supervision during endoscopic procedures, admission and recovery of patients.
